Dear readers,
If you are celebrating Christmas or if you are just in the mood for presents, you must be impatiently waiting for your presents, it’s only two days left! I know I am as excited as ever about exchanging gifts.
Based on several conversations with other people, I found that most adults are way less excited about Christmas presents than when they were kids. I am happy to announce that, as a neurodivergent ADHDer, I don’t relate to this at all! I wait for presents with utter excitement for at least a week or more before Christmas, I annoy people by trying to guess what they got me, I prepare, wrap, and create the presents I will give, all in preparation for the big day. And when the big day comes… the only way I can accurately describe Christmas Day is “bathing in presents”, and eating sweets of course.
No matter how you feel about the gift exchange or if your gifts are more grown-up and serious, I invite you all to be creative with your gifts and allow yourself to play.
