Discover more from Ana’s Comics
Dear readers,
First of all, thanks to everyone who joined me on Medium Day! It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed sharing my thoughts on comics and ADHD and answering your questions. And for those who couldn't join us, you are in luck because I will write a summary of my talk in one of my next newsletters.
The summer is ending and so here are some obligatory end-of-summer comics (or more like one comic and one hand-written observation), inspired by my travels. I also wrote this up in a longer post on Medium, where I included some older comics. You can read it here.
So, here is what I learned during the summer.
You won’t read that book during vacation
Sorry to break it to you, but that book you are diligently carrying around in your luggage will never be read. That is if you are anything like me, of course. And I was in such denial until the very end of my vacation. I kept saying “Yes, I will read it tomorrow on the beach”. Turns out there are many more exciting and ADHD-friendly things to do! Like sleeping, for example… And why not? That’s what vacation is for in the end.
Be prepared for a long-haul flight

For me as a very moody ADHDer, the choice of entertainment often decides whether I have a good or a bad trip on a long flight (pun intended). So, that is what I realized after a very long flight from Japan… I was fortunate enough that the flight was just a bit after the release of Heartstopper S2 and I managed to download it just in time 🥳🌈 Hearstopper is one of my ADHD obsessions and watching it improved my trip and my mood so so much.
I hope you had a good summer! Have you discovered something new during the summer? Let me know in the comments below!
Until next time,
Ana
