It's not easy being a tourist in Seville
This weekend I was in Seville attending a workshop on visual storytelling! It was an unforgettable experience, led by Fran Meneses (@frannerd) and Ed Pavez (@edpavez), who are such talented artists in storytelling and illustration. I would like to explain more about why and how it was amazing, but it’s hard to put it into words (I’ll think about making a comic, maybe that will be easier).
Besides being a comics student this weekend (and learning so so much!), I was also a tourist in Seville. And that is also an unforgettable experience, but for other reasons. So much so that it inspired me to make two comics on my flight back. So, here are the reasons why it’s not easy being a tourist in Seville:
If you are wondering if this last panel really happened, the answer is yes, several times! I have never encountered such rude tourists. I think the beauty of Seville got to their heads and they want it all for themselves!
I wish you a great summer with a lot of tourism and without any tourist troubles! I will be a tourist many more times this summer, and I’m excited to see what kinds of experiences and comics are coming up next for me.
Until next time,
